By interfusing steel, lights and smoke, Daniel aims to embody the feeling of optical illusions in a classical geometric form. The non-verbal communication is then gently shaped by the intangible smoke who invades every single particle of the room. The sharply angled cube acts like a powerful channel who allows the burst of “thoughts” to expand outside its limits, creating in this way a realm of fascination. The artist used contrasting materials that allowed him to play with the shapes and textures generating a different reality. This unique variation gives a glimpse of ambiguity that eventually allows the viewer to engage with the sculpture and actually feel the entire composition.
